Public Intrusion Test (PIT) Can you challenge our new online voting system?

Public Intrusion Test (PIT)

Swiss Post will carry out a Public Intrusion Test (PIT) for its next-generation online voting system from 25th of February to 24th of March 2019.

Anyone who is interested in participating can register at and find out more about the program, its compensation system and other details. You can also submit your findings via this platform.

The key points at a glance:

  • We pay compensations for accepted findings
  • You retain the right to publish your findings according to the code of conduct
  • The PIT has a clear scope, please pay attention
  • We provide you with a legal safe harbour

You can find a summary of how the intrusion test works in this blog article.

For reasons of transparency, Swiss Post has also published the source code. After a one-off registration, interested parties can view and study the source code on GitLab.

The results of the PIT will be incorporated into the further development of our next-generation online voting system with individual and universal verifiability.

We are looking forward to your contributions!
